Members, it is a disappointing start to the season being that our Clubrooms were broken into last weekend with a small amount of stock stolen together with the internal canteen door being damaged, thankfully no other aspects of the rooms were touched. As a committee we work tirelessly to provide our members the best facilities with many of you giving generously of your time as volunteers, whereby this type of behaviour by certain sectors of the community remains a mystery to me given the amount of opportunity available for individuals to not lower themselves to these standards. Nevertheless as many of you live close to the rooms we ask that you remain extra vigilant when passing by or around the area given that what occurred last weekend had no signs of forced entry into the main building only to the canteen area.
